However, after stumbling upon this (somewhat harsh but realistic) piece of motivational advice on LifeHacker, we decided to dedicate a quick post to our own variation of.
The LifeHacker article mentions a few general tips that can be applied by anyone stuck in a rut – not only PhD students, but also by them, such as “find your goal”, “set deadlines and stick to them” – but it’s a lot more simple than that:
